How I created Red Lillies without using a brush:
Acrylic paint applied loosely to 50 x 60cm 140lb dampened watercolour paper with wet kitchen towel, and stamped with sequin waste to provide texture.
More definition applied with a baby wipe.
Sponges applied to give texture and side of credit card to suggest stems. Stamping with corrugated card and texture plates to provide interest.
Collage applied and oil pastels to strengthen design.
More collage and adjustment – Finished piece.
