More from Saturday workshop – Gelli Printing

Wow, what fun we had on Saturday making more mess with our Gelli Plates!!!! For those of you who aren’t familiar with gelli plates a full description and great ways to use these wonderful printing (monoprinting) plates take a look at: its a great site and full of ideas, techniques etc….

I’ve shared just a few examples of what we got up to on Saturday, these pieces will be worked on further, quite how we don’t know yet…rolling the brayer, pressing the print, examples of materials including some amazing silver birch bark and a paper used for cleaning our brayers which we all thought was fantastic..

Our first examples – not bad for the 1st workshop – more layers and pattern will be laid on once the pieces are dry.
