Xmas Market

I’ll be selling lots of Christmas goodies at the Diddy Dots Market next Saturday. Hand crafted cards, paintings, fridge magnets, keyrings and hand-painted photo frames, glass coasters, wish sticks and wooden decorations as well as some of the old favourites – wooden assemblage blocks depicting old London. Hope to see you there… I’ll also be taking registrations for my new mixed media workshops in the new year.

Busy getting ready for Xmas Markets

Check out my selection of Xmas goodies on sale at Diddy Dots Xmas market, 5th December inside Crouch End’s fabulous Town Hall and Yule ‘blink’ at Earl Haig Hall on 12th December.

These bespoke pieces were created using Pebeo’s new Mixed Media range of paints. Glass Coasters and Wish Sticks and wooden decorations. Great fun.

Pebeo Mixed Media experiments

Sorry I’ve not blogged for a while but back on course now experimenting and testing Pebeo’s new mixed media range on behalf of the SAA (Society for All Artists).

Interesting textures and effects. And brilliant for any mixed media project.

Trying out different substrates I found that the paints worked beautifully on a variety of surfaces such as canvas board, Yupo synthetic paper, watercolour 300gsm (140lb) NOT and Rough surfaces and also the SAA Practice paper which stood up well to a heavy application of paint which I used to rescue an old painting that wasn’t working out and needed more depth: Moonrise

… and 2 more experiments: Rocky Crag and Mountain where you can get an idea of the texture and beautiful surface effects .

.and a couple of florals: Poppies on canvas board and Water Lily on Yupo paper.
